Because this course is used by the U.S. Department of Labor to qualify for electrical apprenticeship, all learners must complete it within the designated timeframe. The Department of Labor requires that anyone who does not finish within the allotted 180 days must retake the course to receive credit and advance in the apprenticeship.  We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, but the 180-day limit is a required part of maintaining compliance with the registered apprenticeship standards.

There is no need to repurchase the textbook and calculator again if already owned.
